Total Mayhem Construction Update #6
Here is our 6th update on Total Mayhem coming to Six Flags Great Adventure in 2016! Footers are now being poured. Also, we have some up close photos of the supports.
First of all, if anyone wants to get some shots, there is a small portion of the fence that is cut. Vinny took the photos from behind the fence with the zoom. we didn’t trespass.
Moving onto the construction update….Sorry for the terrible shot, but footers are now being poured. The building on the right is for the main control panel room. The construction crews must be LOVING this warm weather.
Here’s a look at the left side of the construction area.
And here’s the right side. One thing that is will be nice about Total Mayhem is that it should be able to run during Holiday In The Park. The park can add the lakefront section to the park’s line up in 2016. Having both Total Mayhem and Blackbeard’s Lost Train will definitely help with the long lines in 2016.
Here’s a look at the overall construction site of Total Mayhem. It’ll look REALLY nice in 2016.
As a bonus, here’s some up close shots of Total Mayhem’s supports taken on December 5th, 2015, during the ACE New Jersey Winter Adventures event.
None of the track is at Six Flags Great Adventure yet. It is currently being produced at Rocky Mountain Construction’s facility in Idaho.
Thanks for reading! We’ll continue to update you throughout this month and when the park opens back up in 2016.
