Six Flags New England Announces 4th of July Event Celebration

AGAWAM, Mass. – June 23, 2016 Six Flags New England will be celebrating the 4th of July with a three day long celebration called Coca-Cola Fourth Fest. This year’s Coca-Cola Fourth Fest will be the largest three day Independence Day celebration to take place at the property and New England.

 To honor the men and women who are serving our great nation, the park will be inviting all active and retired military (with valid identification) to Six Flags New England for FREE throughout the three daylong celebration. Friends and family accompanied by a military member will be able to enter the park for only $39.00 each, valid up to four people.

 Six Flags New England will be partnering with the USO (The United Service Organization) for the first time. The USO is a nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to providing programs, services, and entertainment to United States soldiers and their families, for 75 years. Six Flags is committed to raising $40,000 for the USO throughout this three daylong Fourth of July celebration. Six Flags New England will also be hosting 15 military families to enjoy the park with free admission, parking and a special ceremony commemorating their commitment to protecting America on July, 2 at 10:15 a.m.

 Guests can also bring in any can of Coca-Cola from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. on each day with their Season Pass or Admission ticket and receive an exclusive ride time on the following attractions. Each Coca Cola can collected will result in a $1.00 donation to the USO.

 ·         July 2: Wicked Cyclone, New England SkyScreamer, SUPERMAN The Ride, Gotham City Gauntlet, Pandemonium, Bumper Cars, and Scrambler.

·         July 3: Wicked Cyclone, New England SkyScreamer, SUPERMAN The Ride, Gotham City Gauntlet, CATWOMAN’s Whip, Scream, and Thunderbolt.

·         July 4: BATMAN: The Dark Knight, Mind Easer, Tea Cups, and Crime Wave.

 The July 4th Fest celebration will be located on Main Street at the gazebo, where there will be a variety games and activities, including Coke Can Stacking, dance contests, and opportunities to win great prizes and Coca-Cola swag. There will be an onsite DJ throughout the festivities playing the hits and getting guests excited for the patriotic celebration.

 Of course, 4th of July is not complete without fireworks! Each evening at 9:30 p.m. guests will be able to enjoy an amazing firework presentation. The 15 minute presentation will be visible to guests from anywhere throughout the property, and orchestrated to patriotic music.
