Boys & Girls Clubs Partner With California’s Great America for Dec. 19 Event
Boys & Girls Clubs of America and California’s Great America Partner
To Create BGCA WinterFest Fundraiser
During WinterFest, which runs select dates from November 25-December 30, guests can support Boys & Girls Club of America’s Great Futures campaign by opting to contribute $5 at checkout when purchasing event tickets online at www.cagreatamerica.com/winterfest or by donating to coin boxes located throughout the park during the event.
On December 19 the park will reward hundreds of deserving Boys & Girls Club members with an evening of WinterFest fun that will include free admission, dinner with WinterFest characters, a merchandise voucher and a goodie bag. Great America will donate a portion of the December 19 ticket revenue for the evening to local Boys & Girls Clubs as well as Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
The evening will include skating in front of the iconic Carousel Columbia, admiring magnificent displays of millions of lights and décor, viewing spectacular live holiday shows, experiencing 20 rides and attractions, petting reindeer, seeing Santa’s workshop and Mrs. Claus’ kitchen, and enjoying a scrumptious holiday meal.
“Great America is committed to improving its community and assisting Bay Area youth,” said Great America Vice President & General Manager Raul Rehnborg. “Boys & Girls Clubs and their national Great Futures campaign is a wonderful example of how everyone can give back during the holidays.”
“We are grateful to partners like Great America who help us make the holidays a little brighter for children around the country,” said Chad Royal-Pascoe, National Vice President, Corporate & Cause Partnerships for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “With this support we will continue to change the opportunity equation for all youth today, furthering our goal of enabling all kids and teens to achieve a great future.”
