Twisted Cyclone Track Installation is Completed at Six Flags Over Georgia
Track installation is now complete on the all-new Twisted Cyclone roller coaster coming soon to Six Flags Over Georgia. Crews placed the final pieces of the 2,600 foot long track a few days ago. Twisted Cyclone will offer guests the best of both worlds—a classic wooden structure combined with a modern, steel track. Park President Dale Kaetzel signed the last piece of track before it was hoisted into place. Twisted Cyclone features a 75-degree drop down 100 feet, three head-over-heel flips, 10 airtimes moments and more, while reaching speeds of 50 miles per hour. Twisted Cyclone is set to open in late May, around Memorial Day weekend, at Six Flags.
